Jetting and Vactor
Jetting and Vactor is the process of cleaning the entire span of sewer by using water to drive the debris found in the sewer to a nearby manhole and then vactoring (vacuuming) the debris out of the sewer. You have to imagine a vactor truck like it is a powerful shop-vac on wheels.
Jetting is a high-pressure stream of water running at about 2,500 psi. We have various trucks that will push 35-80 gallons of water per minute.

We have different specialty heads depending on what is needed for that specific job. We can do:

Root Cutting
Often roots will get in the sewers and breakup the joints … we have tools that will saw the roots off in the jetting process.
If the debris and roots have caused enough damage, we can grout the joints, and we can add a root-inhibitor, so the issue doesn’t reoccur in the future.
